SPACERAVEN PRIVACY POLICY

SHORT VERSION
SpaceRaven analyzes your drives on your own computer. Your files, file names, folder structure and scan results never leave your PC. The app contains no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

WHAT STAYS ON YOUR PC
- Scan results (sizes, names, dates, categories, duplicates) are stored in %APPDATA%\SpaceRaven\last-scan.json.
- Your settings, Keep list and excluded folders are stored in %APPDATA%\SpaceRaven\settings.json.
- Your license activation is stored in %APPDATA%\SpaceRaven\license.dat, encrypted with Windows' built-in data protection for your user account.
- To protect your ongoing work, SpaceRaven reads (locally only) which folders coding tools such as Claude Code and Visual Studio Code are working in, and marks those folders as "in use" so they can't be deleted.
Uninstalling SpaceRaven and deleting the %APPDATA%\SpaceRaven folder removes all of this.

WHEN SPACERAVEN GOES ONLINE
1. License activation and checks. When you activate a license key, and occasionally afterwards, SpaceRaven sends your license key and your computer's name (for example "DESKTOP-1234 (Alex)") to our license provider, Lemon Squeezy (https://www.lemonsqueezy.com), so the activation can be verified and counted toward your activation limit. Nothing else is sent.
2. Game artwork. For games installed through Steam, SpaceRaven loads the game's cover image from Steam's public image server (steamstatic.com). This reveals your IP address and the game's store ID to Steam's image servers, as with any web image. No account information is sent.
3. Links you click, such as "Buy", "Contact support" or a publisher's website, open in your web browser.

PURCHASES
Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record (Lemon Squeezy). They receive the information you enter at checkout (such as name, email, payment details and country) under their own privacy policy. We receive your name, email and order details so we can provide support and manage your license.

YOUR CHOICES
You can use SpaceRaven without an internet connection, apart from activating a license. You may ask us to access or delete the purchase information we hold about you through the Contact page at https://odinthered.dev.

CHILDREN
SpaceRaven is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

CHANGES
If this policy changes, the updated version will ship with the next release of SpaceRaven and be posted at https://spaceraven.odinthered.dev.
